Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed former TCTA president Nanette Sissney to the TRS Board of Trustees for a term set to expire Aug. 31, 2023. James “Dick” Nance, a retired Pasadena ISD educator, and Jarvis V. Hollingsworth of Missouri City were also named to the board, with Hollingsworth to serve as chairman. Sissney previously served on the TRS Board from 2009-16, and Hollingsworth served from 2002-07.
