TCTA urges TEA, governor to put health and safety first as schools reopen

TCTA continues to advocate for our members to ensure that if and when schools are opened this fall, it is done in a way that ensures the health and safety of students and employees and doesn't allow room for politicized decision-making. On Monday, we sent this letter to Education Commissioner Mike Morath, and a similar letter to Gov. Greg Abbott to reiterate our concerns about how schools reopen.
