TRS to meet Friday, review health plans

The February meeting of the TRS Board of Trustees has, in recent years, been structured as a more in-depth review of agency practices with deeper briefings on policy issues in addition to the typical business addressed at other meetings.

The first meeting of the Board on Friday, Feb. 26, originally planned for three days, has been condensed to a one-day meeting. The agenda features an annual review of the performance of TRS health plans, including benchmark comparison, information about COVID-19 coverage and claims. The Retiree Advisory Council, chaired by former TCTA State President Grace Mueller, will update the Board on its last meeting.
