No action at the Capitol as icy weather hits the state

Lawmakers adjourned early this week as icy weather descended on Central Texas and other parts of the state. Senate Finance hearings are being rescheduled, though Chair Joan Huffman hopes to get back on track in short order. Other Senate committees are not expected to meet in the near future.

The House and Senate will reconvene Friday, and then adjourn again until Tuesday, Feb. 7.
