FREE Online Continuing Education
Since 1999, TCTA has offered a convenient free option for earning continuing professional education credits, and this summer we have unveiled several new online sessions. This page is home to a variety of free professional development courses that you can experience on your own schedule and from any Internet-connected computer.

Some of these courses have large files so it is recommended that if you are in a rural area or do not have access to DSL or Broadband, that you wait to allow the video to download fully before beginning each section for best quality. Most of the seminars are video-based, some are written, and many feature printable handouts for additional information. A sophisticated tracking system helps confirm that your class has been completed, and once an online completion form and class evaluation are submitted, a certificate acknowledging your CPE credit hours will be mailed to you from headquarters. TCTA is an SBEC-approved provider of CPE hours, so all courses have the SBEC "seal of approval".
