Online tour of the restored Bremond home, Headquarters of TCTA, Part 4

Fireplace One

There are six unique fireplaces in the Bremond home, three on the first floor and three on the second floor.

The three second-floor mantles, all located in rooms once used as bedrooms, are made of stone imported from Italy. To the right is one of two black fireplace mantles in the house; the third mantle on the second floor is made of marble.

Fireplace Two

The fireplace mantles on the first floor are wooden and were constructed by German immigrant and noted woodcarver Peter Mansbendel.

As you can see, the detail is spectacular on the mantle pictured at left and the two pictured below. View larger images of the fireplace mantles.
