Online tour of the restored Bremond home, Headquarters of TCTA, Part 3
The
Bremond home is full of special touches and intricate designs. One
example of extraordinary detail work can be seen in the plaster
medallions that surround major light fixtures in the house. In all,
there are 10 medallions (five on the first floor and five on the
second). Each is unique and intricately designed.

Both of these medallions are located on the first floor. The one to the right surrounds the light fixture in the former music/drawing room, which is now used by TCTA for meetings. The medallion above is located in what once served as the family dining room. As you can see, this carving features pineapples, a traditional symbol of hospitality. View larger images of the medallions.

The house also features several stained glass or etched windows. This beautiful etching of a girl carrying a basket of flowers is on the door now used as the main entrance. Another exterior door features windows etched with delightful cupids. View a larger image of the etched glass.
