Certification test registration for the TExES, ExCET, TOPT, TeXMaT, TASC and TASC-ASL exams will begin September 1, 2006.

The new web site for test registration is www.texes.ets.org and will become active on September 1, 2006.

Beginning September 1, 2006 the Preparation Manuals and other study materials will be available at www.texes.ets.org.

New certification exams for 2006-2007:

  • TExES 176 Business Education beginning October 21, 2006
  • TExES 178 Art EC-12 beginning April 14, 2007

Computer Administered Tests (CAT) to be available beginning September 19, 2006:

  • TExES 101 Generalist EC-4
  • TExES 161 Special Education EC-12
