The professional liability insurance is provided by National Casualty Company, an affiliate of Scottsdale Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nationwide, one of the largest insurance and financial service providers in the United States with an A.M. Best Rating of A+XV (superior). Although the carrier is an admitted carrier, licensed by the State of Texas, the coverage is provided through a purchasing group, so the insurer may not be subject to all insurance laws and regulations of the state.
